timepiece

This was my Mom’s watch.  Understated, delicate, trinket-like to match her size, she only stood 4’11”.  This was her tangent source of time.  The kind of time you can’t stop.  The time Earth takes to circle the sun.

Now unworn.

I am telling myself this accessory will represent her spiritual time.  A benchmark of where she is now.

I took this image to not only catalog what I have left of her but as a reminder of what I know, that all my Mom wants is for me to take my time on this life of mine, surrounded by endless possibilities.

light & love
